Our Programs

Our Little Ninjas Program (Ages 4 - 6)

Our Little Ninja program consists of eight core life skills that 4-6 year olds need the most: Focus, Teamwork, Control, Memory, Balance, Discipline, Fitness and Coordination. Our goal is for young children to learn these skills while having fun doing it.

The program consists of seven belt levels and is an introduction to karate that sets the groundwork for younger children to transition into our Children’s Program.

Recent research shows that martial arts help boost kid’s self-control and focus. Also, studies reveal that respect learned from martial arts often carries over into school to improve behavior and even grades.

Our Children/Teen Program (Ages 7 & Up)

If you would like to increase your child’s self-confidence, discipline, and self-esteem, then we invite you sign up for a free class trial. Our children/teen classes are a fun way for them to achieve fitness and focus while learning self-discipline, social skills, and respect for others.

Our classes provide structure while also offering a safe way for kids and teens to get out extra energy. Respect is a core value taught and students are instructed to show it to adults and their peers. Students are encouraged to support each other in an accepting environment.

The Benefits of Martial Arts for Kids

  1. Focus - Practicing martial arts drives students to concentrate in order to learn and perform. Since focus is required for mostly all types of activities, this will help them in everyday life. As a person reaches adulthood, it becomes an invaluable skill. Karate can be the foundation for it.
  2. Self-Esteem and Confidence - The better a student is able to concentrate and learn; the more aware they become; the more confident they feel; and the better they feel about themselves. Martial Arts teaches them to work hard to achieve their goals. When performing in class, it contributes to staying physically fit, and children are surrounded by respectful, caring people. By working hard for themselves, they see their own worth and are doing it with helpful friends in a supportive environment, which further boosts their confidence and self-esteem.
  3. Discipline and Patience - In martial arts, children learn that it takes time, focus and work to reach their goals. The student learns to work hard, concentrate, and patiently learns their curriculum in efforts to achieve goals to their next belt level. The outcome is that they learn that patience and hard work pay off.
  4. Grades and Academia - Learning self-discipline, focus, patience, and the value of work through martial arts carries over into other aspects of a child’s life including how they perform in school. They begin to see the benefits of really putting effort into what they need to do, and how it can result in something that is really good for them.
